Where our Inner world takes Centre Stage

Intrusive Thoughts is a theatre company that creates, produces and performs original theatre pieces inspired by the quiet and strange thoughts that knock on the door of our unconscious in the middle of the night. Our performances shine a light on what is hidden, what is unknown, and what needs to be spoken out loud.

Intrusive Thoughts, premiering at the Ignite! Festival of Emerging Artists at Sage Theatre in Calgary on June 3rd and the Montreal Fringe Festival June 10th!

Join us as we explore the tender territory of the human mind.

INTRUSIVE THOUGHTS :THE PLAY

A tale of righteous revenge

A therapists dreams up ways enact revenge toward the villains in her client’s lives. Along the way she is confronted by her own demons that hide in the shadows of her past.

A darkly funny and intimate exploration of the troubling thoughts that shape our lives and impulses, and how they can offer comfort in the face of injustice.

Is it possible to cross the line from civility to madness, even if it is just in our minds? Is it ok to wish harm in the face of atrocities, even if it’s just a passing thought? How far is too far when all we have is our imagination?
